About me as a therapist:
I am a qualified counsellor and a member of the BACP. Currently, pursuing a master’s degree in counselling and psychotherapy. I offer compassionate, person-centred therapy for self-discovery, healing, and growth, tailored to your unique experience.
I have experience supporting clients through a range of challenges, including trauma, bereavement, anxiety, relationship difficulties, identity struggles, and experiences related to race, disability, gender and sexual identity.
I use a non-directive approach, which means that I let clients lead their therapeutic journey. I offer a nonjudgmental and safe space for this to unfold naturally. I see it as my privilege to be part of your self-discovery. I observe a person-centred, varied approach because I believe that all people are unique in their own way. Because of this, each person’s journey cannot be restricted by any psychological theory but instead supported by them.
I believe in the healing power of gratitude and nature. I recognise an interconnection between emotional, psychological and physical realms, and I would hold and bring the necessity for unconditional positive regard and empathy in our work together.
I work at Spiral on Wednesdays.
