Mayuri Patel

I am an accredited counsellor, registered with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy
Society. I adhere to their code of conduct and ethics.

Working together, we will explore how the personality has been shaped by past experiences -
especially those from childhood, to understand why we have become who we are today and how
we relate to other people. With an awareness of our issues, and increasing autonomy, we can
make the changes needed to live a life of authenticity and joy.

My approach is relational, with the aim of being very present within the therapeutic relationship, I
hope to provide a warm, non-judgmental, safe, confidential, and culturally sensitive space where
you will be seen, heard, and understood.

My practice is also influenced by spirituality, aligning mostly with Christianity and Buddhism. I
welcome people from all faiths and spiritual backgrounds, and from none.

I work at Spiral on Saturdays.
