I gained a Diploma in Counselling in an integrative approach focusing on working with the behaviour. I trained at the MBET Centre, qualified in 2019 and I am a registered member of the BACP.
I trained using a range of techniques, strategies and concepts aimed on working with the implicit. When working with the implicit the aim is to bring attention and awareness to your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Together we will focus and process on what is occurring beyond the words with the intention to help to heal.
As well as offering low-cost counselling at Spiral on Mondays 3 - 9pm, I work for an employee assistance programme (EAP) which gives employees access to free and confidential counselling and advice services. I have worked with adults who were working towards recovery from addiction and volunteered on mental health and support for under 25’s helplines in recent years.
My purpose is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where the client can address the problems they have been experiencing.
