I work in a client-centred intuitive way, offering a wholly non-judgement space, where difficult thoughts and feelings can be carefully and safely explored. I will often draw upon the work of Jung in our work together, and offer psychodynamic, existential and humanistic approaches to best offer insight into what is unfolding in the consulting room. I am supportive of and open to using creative mediums, which may assist clients to express their feelings with greater ease.
I have a deeply held belief that the relationship between client and therapist is a sacred one, where healing from the past whilst living into an authentic future is truly possible. The transpersonal orientation of my training is concerned with facilitating the spiritual growth of each client I work with, to which I am wholly committed. I believe that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is one that grows over time and I am committed to long-term work, where deep healing can be achieved.
I am currently a third year trainee Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapist at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education. In addition to my training in psychotherapy, I have a degree in psychology, and a Masters degree in Public Health Education and Health Promotion. I am a student member of UKCP and follow their ethical framework and guidance.
I work at Spiral on Tuesday mornings.
