I am in my final year of study with North West London Counselling and Training (NWLCT) and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I have trained in Islamic, Person Centered and Psychodynamic counselling and I work integratively. My core model is person-centred. I will draw on knowledge and techniques from other areas of my training if it feels appropriate and relevant to you.
We all experience times in our lives when things can feel a bit too much. The space I provide aims to make you feel comfortable and safe, so that we can explore your emotional discomfort more easily. My approach is attentive and my energy is tender and grounding. I will take your lead in our sessions and we will work with your experiences and whatever comes up for you.
I believe that all experiences are unique, have value and can carry meaning. Sometimes these experiences can cause conflict between different aspects of ourselves, such as the mind, body, heart and soul, bringing about emotions that can feel impossible to bear and we can often struggle to go about our day to day lives. I will invite you to bring all aspects of yourself to our sessions and together, we can explore what has brought you to Spiral.
