I am an integrative counsellor/therapist and my approach to therapy has been informed by both person-centred and psychodynamic approaches, as well as attention to what our bodies might hold and can tell us. I have worked in the voluntary sector with homeless and vulnerable adults and have been a volunteer counsellor for a LGBTQ charity. I also have experience teaching and working in Higher Education.
As a therapist I offer a non-judgemental space for clients to explore whatever they want to bring. It might be that your customary ways of living or relating no longer serve you or no longer feel possible. Therapy can provide opportunities to think, feel and reflect on your past, and on your internal and external worlds, and how these experiences have shaped your present. It is a space where you can be curious and where I will provide a holding and relational environment where all parts of you are welcome.
My experience includes, but is not limited to, working with depression, anxiety, relationship problems, work stress, identity, sexuality, gender, loss and childhood trauma.
I hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling (2018) from the Minster Centre and am currently completing an MA in Psychotherapy, also at the Minster Centre. I am a registered BACP member and adhere to their code of ethics and safe practice.
Fee: £60 per 50-minute session.
I practice at Spiral on Fridays.
