Spiral offers in person, low cost counselling and psychotherapy for those on low or no income, and our therapists in private practice offer counselling and psychotherapy for those on a higher income.

Spiral was founded in 1995, and for almost 30 years we have been committed to offering a service that makes therapy available to as wide a range of people as possible in the local community and beyond.

Spiral makes an ethical commitment to setting all fees on a reasonable scale. We offer an extensive low cost counselling service for people on limited income. Unusually for a low cost project, it is often possible to see a therapist for a year or more. Our team of therapists also includes experienced counsellors, psychotherapists and complementary therapists in private practice, most of whom offer some concessionary spaces.

Another aspect of our work is educational. We offer a supportive and challenging learning environment for therapists during and after their process of qualification. This includes placements, supervision, and ongoing professional development workshops for Spiral therapists.
