I gained a Diploma in Counselling in an integrative approach focusing on working with your physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing. I trained at the Mindfulness Based Experiential Therapy Centre (MBET Centre) and have several years of experience working with clients in a variety of environments such as, therapy centres, an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), adults working towards recovery from addiction and volunteered on mental health and support for young people helplines. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and accredited member of The National Counselling Society (NCS).
I trained using a range of techniques, strategies and concepts aimed on working with the implicit. When working with the implicit the aim is to bring attention and awareness to your thoughts, feelings, emotions, and body.
My purpose is to create a safe and non-judgmental space in sessions where you can engage, voice, be listened to, be heard, and address the problems you have been experiencing.
My approach and focus are primarily in the areas of attachment and mindfulness in my work with you. I work on an open-ended basis with the aim to create consciousness of the origins of the pattern of behaviour, to encourage change and to live in the present. Exploring the mindset, emotional state and body responses in a supportive setting can lead to growth, development, and connection to your authentic self.
Together, in therapy we will focus and process on what is occurring beyond the words with the intention to heal.
My fee is £70 per session
