I’m an integrative therapist, MBACP (Accred) whose approach combines a belief in psychodynamic theory and a person-centred attitude. My interest in Buddhism and social justice also influences my understanding of suffering.
I have lived experience of complex trauma and was in psychoanalytic psychotherapy for many years. What started as an overdue relational refuge for me, in time, became an adventure of self-discovery and personal empowerment. I see myself as your faithful companion, supporting you as we navigate the winding therapy road together.
I understand the lasting effects of childhood neglect, abuse and abandonment that can include neurodiversity, identity confusion, how we experience relationships and physical illnesses. I can work with ADHD, ASD, anxiety, depression, childhood sexual abuse, complicated grief and codependency. I value diversity in all its aspects.
Whatever brings you, we can explore anything that feels important to you as that evolves.
I believe everyone has the creativity to nurture and grow their potential and aim to hold a space for you where hope and possibility can seed, germinate and flourish.
